David Bagley

David Gabor Bagley, 76, of Milford, passed away at his home on April 21, 2024. Born on May 31, 1947, in Bridgeport, he was the son of the late Gabor and Mary Bagley.

A proud middle school educator of 35 years for the Ridgefield, CT School District, Dave was often voted teacher of the year by his students until he retired in 2004. He brought passion and ‘life’ to history classes and loved seeing his students learn and thrive. In his retirement, he enjoyed weekly yoga classes, fishing, reading, and gardening.

David is survived by his loving daughter, Christine Renee Bagley, son-in-law, Jorge Fritz, and his cherished granddaughter, Teagan Lunajoy Fritz.

The family is being compassionately cared for by the staff at Cody-White Funeral Home 107 Broad Street, Milford, CT 06460. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals – ASPCA.
